From a community group to a national network
It began in Scarborough, Ontario, in a busy WhatsApp and Facebook community where Canadian business owners traded advice, referrals and encouragement every single day. The community grew quickly, and the trust inside it grew with it. Owners were finding suppliers, partners and customers simply by being part of a genuine group.
We built CanadaBusinessOwners.ca to give that community a proper home: a place where any honest business, from a one-person home operation to an established company, can be listed, verified and found. A real person reviews every business before it goes live, so the network stays genuine and free of scams.
